The East Point Cumberland Presbyterian Church is located a few miles east of Cullman, Alabama, in a rapidly growing section. Rev. R. H. Ridgeway is the consecrated pastor.

It was our privilege to spend a few days with this congregation the last of July and help raise the church debt. The people of the church and community responded in a fine way, and every dollar was either raised or pledged. The Board of Missions and Church Erection made the loan to build this nice stone church. The pastor and people have already raised the money to complete the basement. Everyone is looking forward to the time when a full-time program with a resident pastor can be started.

Eight people united with the church, three were converted, and a number reconsecrated their lives during the week. A veteran minister of the presbytery, Rev. W. D. Eidson, was a great help and inspiration to the meeting.

May the Lord bless the East Point congregation and Brother Ridgeway as they continue to labor in the Kingdom work.--Wayne Wiman.
