1911 - Formed by union of Vandalia and Decatur presbyteries by Illinois Synod.

1964 - Became part of North Central Synod (name change from Illinois Synod).

1988 - Became part of North Central Presbytery in major reorganization of Cumberland Presbyterian Church Synods and Presbyteries.
