1978 - Formed by consolidation of Louisiana and East Texas presbyteries by Texas Synod

1988 - Consolidated with South Texas Presbytery and renamed Trinity Presbytery by order of Mission Synod in major reorganization of Cumberland Presbyterian Church Synods and Presbyteries.
