"We, your Committee on Education and Examination, would submit Report No. 1.
We have had before us Brothers A. W. Clinard, G. W. Phillips, W. E. Campbell, J. W. Hunt and H. L. Potter. They all showed progress in their studies. Brothers Clinard, Phillips and Potter are in school at Erin, doing good work. Brother Campbell contemplates attending school next year.
We recommend that Candidates Clinard and Phillips be licensed at this sitting of Presbytery, and suggest that the hour be set for this evening, following womans' service.
2. That Brother Campbell be assigned as a text Romans 6-23 from which to write a discourse for the Fall Presbytery.
3. That as Brother Hunt has stood satisfactory examination, he be ordained to full work, and that Brother McCaslin preach the sermon tomorrow at 11:00 o'clock; that Brother Costello preside and Rev. W. H. McLeskey give the charge.

As appointed for this hour, the ordination to the full work of the ministry of Licentiate J. W. Hunt, Rev. V. B. Costello, presided, Rev. R. J. McCaslin, delivered the charge, the sermon was preached by Rev. W. H. McLeskey, from Matt. 24-24 and Gal. 6-9.
Brother Hunt was duly set apart as a minister of the gospel, he having answered all questions to the satisfaction of Presbytery, by the laying on of hands and of prayer, the prayer being offered by Rev. J. T. Barbee, of Kentucky Synod, and his name ordered enrolled. [page 11]
