1857
On September 1857, Mr. C. B. Elliott and William Leonard made a deed to A. J. Cross, Jr., G. W. Harris , and J. T. Allen, ruling elders of the Henry Ewing church, and their successors. The congregation was deeded one square acres of land on the east side of the Cahaba Valley Road.

The pastor, Mark Davenport, announced that the Session has voted to change the name of the church to the First Presbyterian Church of Alabaster (Cumberland).
