Marriott Shoals Hotel & Spa The 2012 General Assembly was held at the Marriott Shoals Hotel & Spa in Florence, Alabama.
BBQ at Springfield CP Church Reverend Kenny Morgan and the Springfield congregation hosted a BBQ with special guest, Vocal Authority to kick off General Assembly.
Springfield Welcomes... Springfield CP Church welcomes General Assembly and Vocal Authority.
Commissioners/YADs Orientation Stated Clerk, Mike Sharpe conducts orientation for the Commissioners and Youth Advisory Delegates to General Assembly.
Communications 101 One of several workshops offered before opening of General Assembly.
Meeting People.. .. through Life's Transitions was another workshop offered at General Assembly led by Laurie Sharpe.
Host Table The Host Table was front and center in the display area to welcome commissioners, youth advisory delegates and guests.
Health Screenings The Board of Stewardship Foundation, and Benefits presented a Health Screening where you could have blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol levels checked as well as other health information. Services were provided by the Shoals & Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospitals.
Displays... There were several displays from various boards and agencies setup in the Convention Center during the week of General Assembly.

Cumberland Presbyterian Bookstore Lots to see and purchase at the bookstore.
Auction Memphis Theological Seminary presented the 2012 Cumberland Treasures Auction during General Assembly.
2012 CPWM Elected Officers
Vocal Authority We were blessed on several occassions with singing by Vocal Authority of Bethel University.
Worship Director Reverend Victor Hassell, pastor of Sturgis CP Church in Kentucky was the 182nd General Assembly Worship Director. Reverend Hassell is also a member of Covenant Presbytery.
Retiring Engrossing Clerk Stated Clerk, Mike Sharpe, presented a plaque to retiring Engrossing Clerk, Dr. Tommy Craig.
Retiring Moderator Retiring Moderator, Rev. Don M. Tabor, was presented a gavel and a replica of the Modertor's cross for his service as Moderator of General Assembly in 2011.
Newly Elected Moderator The Reverend Robert D. Rush of Trinity Presbytery was elected Moderator of the 182nd General Assembly. Rev. Rush is pictured with his wife, Olene Rush.
