Elinor
Swindle Brown TOUCH THE FUTURE Director
Elinor began her work
as the director for TOUCH THE FUTURE in the fall of 1999. She works
part-time in this position as it is now a part of her full-time
position as Coordinator of Stewardship for the Board
of Stewardship, Foundation and Benefits.
Elinor is an ordained
minister in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and is a member
of West Tennessee Presbytery. She is the Presbyterial Historian
for the presbytery.
Elinor grew up in the
former Lewis Memorial Cumberland Presbyterian Church (now Christ Cumberland Presbyterian
Church) in Tampa, Florida. Her parents, Lita and Sidney Swindle,
and her brothers Mark and Tom, and their families still reside
in Tampa. Elinor is married to Mark Brown, hospital chaplain
at St.
Jude Children's Research Hospital. Mark is also an ordained
minister in West Tennessee Presbytery. They have one daughter,
Sydney, reside in Memphis, Tennessee, and attend the Cumberland
Presbyterian Church of Germantown, Germantown, Tennessee.
Missy Rose Assistant
to the TOUCH THE FUTURE
Director
Missy joined the TOUCH THE FUTURE staff in February of 2005. Her work here
is part-time. She is also working with the Mt. Zion Cumberland
Presbyterian Church in Columbus, Mississippi, Grace Presbytery.
Missy
came under the care of West Tennessee Presbytery in March 2005
and is a candidate at this time. She is attending Memphis
Theological Seminary and will earn a Master of Divinity degree
at the completion of her class work. She received a BA in Psychology
from the University
of Memphis,
Memphis, Tennessee in 1992.
Missy's church home
is the Faith Cumberland
Presbyterian Church, Bartlett, Tennessee. She serves as an
elder, worship leader for the contemporary service, and junior
high Sunday school teacher.
Missy grew up in Whiteville,
Tennessee, where her parents still live. Her sister is living
in Germany with her husband.

Davis
Gray Executive
Director of the General Assembly Council
Davis was named Executive
Director of the General
Assembly Council in 1994. He has become a staff person working
with TOUCH THE FUTURE as
the program came out of a steering committee formed by the General
Assembly Council.
Davis is a graduate
of Middle Tennessee State University
and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Prior
to his present position, he worked as director of Management
Information Services for Norandal Corporation, Genesco Corporation
as vice-president of one of its divisions, and Arnold Research
Center where he served as an instrumentation engineer and computer
system analyst.
Davis has served the
Cumberland Presbyterian Church as an elder, clerk of session,
treasurer, commissioner to General Assembly, member of the GA's
Board of Christian Education,
member of GA's Restructure Committee, church school teacher and
as a member of a task force to study, recommend and implement
a central accounting system for boards and agencies at the denominational
center. Davis and his wife Lois now live in Germantown, Tennessee,
and attend the Cumberland Presbyterian
Church of Germantown. They have a daughter and a son and
three grandchildren.

Roger
Ricketts Consultant
for Capital Gifts Campaigns
Roger began his professional
career, in ministry, church stewardship, development, advancement
and fundraising in 1974. That career has included professional
service and consulting to churches, administration in higher
education, healthcare foundations and social service agencies.
Roger earned a Master
of Divinity degree from the University
of Dubuque Theological Seminary and is ordained in the United
Methodist Church. He has consulted with congregations from many
denominations including Southern
Baptist, Cumberland
Presbyterian, Presbyterian
(PCA), Lutheran Church (Missouri
Synod), Christian Church
(Disciples of Christ), United
Methodist and Episcopal
churches designing stewardship programs and capital/endowment
campaigns. Roger came on staff with the Cumberland Presbyterian
Church in 2004. He has since become a consultant for Cumberland
Presbyterian churches as well as those in other denominations.
In addition to his professional
commitments, he serves as an alderman and mayor pro-tem for the
city council in his community and is also active in Kiwanis
International, The Boy
Scouts of America and the National Eagle Scout Association.
