There is a training event scheduled for October 24-26, 2005 (Monday through Wednesday). The event will be held for the eighth time at St. Columba Episcopal Retreat Center in Bartlett, Tennessee. It has become a comfortable atmosphere for the training event participants. We are especially excited this year to be able to invite all Cumberland Presbyterians ministers to this event. We also continue to invite denominational staff persons, GAC members and board members from the Board of Stewardship. We also welcome other persons who are interested in learning more about TOUCH THE FUTURE to contact our offices.

We hope to have most of our original leadership and to add to our leadership some new faces.

Participants will be prepared for working with discernment task forces by participating in a small group to role-play scenarios throughout the event. We hope that through this experience and by asking and answering questions that participants will feel comfortable with their future task.

We will report further on this event by the end of October.
