1851
Constituted without authority from higher court by three ministers.

1851
General Assembly ordered Brazos Synod to establish a presbytery in California, which had already been done.

1852
Presbytery approved by General Assembly and attached to Missouri Synod.

1860
Became part of newly formed Sacramento Synod

1864
Became part of Pacific Synod (name change from Sacramento Synod)

1924
Pacific Synod dissolved. California, Fresno, and Los Angeles presbyteries consolidated into one presbytery taking name Pacific Presbytery and placed under auspices of Texas Synod.
