opportunity was given to any one who wished to confer with Presbytery
in regard to a call to the ministry, whereupon F. L. McDowell,
James Vick and D. W. D. Moore presented themselves and
after being examined in open Presbytery by Rev. J. L. Price were
received under the care of Presbytery as candidates for the ministry,
and the clerk was instructed to place their names upon the roll."
