Rev. W. Ed Glover, pastor of the North Pleasant Grove congregation, Murray, Kentucky, Mayfield Presbytery, has announced his plan to retire as of October 1, 1977.
Rev. Glover has been pastor of the church since early in 1955 with the exception of the years of 1965-67 when he served as pastor of the Wingo church. Prior to 1955 he was pastor of the Margaret Hank Memorial Church of Mayfield Presbytery and held pastorates in Texas, Alabama and other places in the church. Ed, as he is known by all of his friends (and, those who love him are numerous), is widely known for his efforts in revival and evangelistic enterprises. Some of the fondest memories of this writer are of the days spent with Rev. Ed Glover in the East Texas pastorate and revivals. Our sincere best wishes for Brother Glover in his retirement. He will be available for interim supply preaching.
Rev. Glover has requested that if there is anyone interested
in the North Pleasant Grove church as a pastorate to please contact
the session clerk, Mr. Nix Crawford, 603 Elm, Murray, KY 42071.
