A letter from Rev. John Gailor,
stating his reasons for absence at the last four meetings, previous
to the present, was read, and the reasons were received as satisfactory
and the letter placed on file.
The Stated Clerk
read a communication from Rev. John Gailor, stating his reasons
for absence from meetings of the Synod
of Hernando.
On motion, the Stated Clerk
was ordered to write to Bro. Gailor and state that his reasons
for absence at the meetings of the Synod are not satisfactory,
except in the case of ill health.
The Stated Clerk
was ordered to forward a copy of thee above communication of Rev.
John Gailor to the Modersator of Synod, at Coffeeville, adding
the request that the Synod instruct its Stated Clerk to publish
its meetings, in future, in the Banner of Peace, one month at
least in advance.
