FEEMSTER.--Rev. S. K. Feemster was born April 20, 1836; died January 4, 1899. He was the son of Rev. M. B. Feemster, one of the early minister of our church. He was a native of Alabama; in early life moved to Mississippi; was married to Miss Amelia C. Redus; began to preach at the age of 33. In 1869 he moved to Arkansas, then to Choctaw Nation, and then to Pease River Presbytery, in Northwest Texas, where his labors were ended. The older he grew the more did he delight to do the Master's work. His disposition was one of sunshine and joy. He was bold in preaching the word, and was always obedient to his brethren in the ministry. Young preachers always found in him a friend, faithful to the trust committed to him. He now wears the crown of life which the Lord, the righteous judge, held in store for him.        FRIEND.
