The following resolution was adopted: Whereas the
Knoxville Presbytery of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in
session at Tellico Plains in the year 1902 at Sept. session did
unaminously pass a resolution authorizing J. H. Davidson to work
as "Lay evangelist" and whereas the records are in possession
of the Presbyterians USA and are not available: Be it resolved
that this Presbytery in session at Virtue on the 19th day of Sept.
1907 do again authorize said J. H. Davidson to continue in the
above named work.
