We regret to learn from Rev. R. R.. Crockett, of Temple, Texas, that his father, Rev. Robert Crockett, died January 10, 10 a.m., at his home, Blackwater, Mo. His illness was brief, and he often expressed his anxiety to go to his reward. He was buried in the Salt Fork churchyard. He served this church for thirty-eight years as pastor.
