Rev. J. T. Borah, of Rienzi, Miss., the venerable stated clerk
Presbytery, died Jan. 12, after a service of more than
fifty years in the ministry. He was buried
at Corinth. Rev.
I. D. Steele, of Nashville, whose wife is a daughter of
Brother Borah, writes from the home of his late father-in-law,
whither he went to attend the funeral: "He closed his own
eyes and went to sleep in Jesus."
