Rev. Dr. W. D. Edington, of Loudon, Tennessee, was an important cog in the wheel during the trying years after the turn of the twentieth century. In addition to serving as editor of the church paper, he was Assistant Stated Clerk of the General Assembly, Secretary of National Sunday School Convention, Director of Christian Education, and Director of Young People's work.
