Resolution As To Gallatin - The following resolution was unanimously adopted: Resolved, That it is hereby expressed as the sentiment of the Presbytery, that it would regard with favor the present arrangement existing for the supply of the Gallatin pulpit, said arrangement to continue, however, only until such time as Gallatin may be provided for according to the system of grouping specified in the report of the Committee on Missions and Supplies, the Gallatin session being herein directed to co-operate with said committee, showing all diligence therein.

Missions and Supplies-Report No., 2. Your committee having received information that the group consisting of Gallatin, Dry Fork, and Portland have held a meeting of their joint sessions and unanimously agreed to employ Rev. H. L. Walker, that Brother Walker give two Sabbaths each to Gallatin and Dry Fork, and the fifth Sabbaths and whatever pastoral work he may be able to give to Portland. But Gallatin is behind in its finances with its former pastor, and is not ready to enter the arrangement until this matter shall be adjusted.
We recommend that you ratify this proposed contract, and that Brother Walker continue his ministrations at Dry Fork looking to the consummation of the arrangement with the entire group.

Gallatin and Dry Fork request the services of Licentiate Chas. Welch. of Logan Presbytery, for six months. We recommend that the request be granted.
The item relating to Gallatin and Dry Fork was amended by the adoption of the following resolution: Resolved, That while we approve the recommendation of the committee concerning Gallatin and Dry Fork, yet we consider this pastorate so important that it should have an ordained minister in charge. We therefore direct the churches and the committee to confer and to seek to arrange by the fall Presbytery for the settling of a pastor who can exercise all the functions of the pastoral office.
