Report of
the Board of Mission. As directed by West Tennessee Presbytery,
regarding the closing of Rives, Central Union, and Mt. Gilead
Cumberland Presbyterian Churches, the Board of Missions will determine
where all properties are located, identify who holds keys to the
properties and identify any members still on the rolls of these
congregations. The properties will be turned over to the Board
of Trustees for appropriate action. The membership of anyone left
on the rolls of these churches will be moved to a Cumberland Presbyterian
Church to be designated at a later date. No action will be recommended
until the Board completes its investigation.
