Ordered to hold a protracted meeting in Collierville, July 10, 1853 by ministers, Porter, Burrow and Pickens.
Resolved that Bro. Zelner continue his mission at Collierville and that he report to next stated session of Presbytery.

On motion, the report of Bro. Zelner touching his labors at Collierville, was received as satisfactory.
Whereas there is an expression or wish sent to this Presbytery by the citizens of the town of Collierville in Shelby Co. praying this Presbytery to take some steps to organize a congregation in that place. Therefore Resolved, that Bros. Porter, Burrow and Zelner be directed to hold a meeting, and organize a congregation in said place, and report to the next meeting of Presbytery, and that Bro. Zelner continue to preach to them as a supply.

On motion the connection between Rev. M. Zelner and Collierville congregation be, and the same is hereby dissolved, and the agreement between the said Zelner and Mt. Carmel congregation is hereby confirmed, and also, that the agreement between Bro. R. Burrow and the Collierville congregation is hereby ratified.
