Woosley. One of the most
important pieces of Cumberland Presbyterian literature. This Kentuckian
was the first woman ordained to the ministry in all of Presbyterian and
Reformed history. Shortly after her ordination by Nolin Presbytery in
1889, Louisa wrote this volume to justify her call to a skeptical
