Full-time Pastor

Goodlettsville Cumberland Presbyterian Church is seeking a pastor to be a spiritual guide to a 300+ member congregation emphasizing the ministries of evangelism, spiritual development, program expansion, religious counseling, church management and serving people in the midst of crisis.

We are seeking applicants who are ordained Cumberland Presbyterian ministers, have completed their Master of Divinity degree or have completed the C. P. Program of Alternative Studies and have at least four years of experience as a full-time pastor.

We are a multi-generational congregation and currently have a blended worship, serving both the preferences of traditional and modern worship. Primarily we are middle class with variety of educational backgrounds, occupations and interests.

Our church facilities include a modern 500-seat sanctuary with a raised platform for choir, organ, grand piano, and praise band. There are educational facilities, a Children’s Building, nursery facilities and a full-sized activity building with gymnasium, track, weight room and classroom. Full-time Pastor

The Barren Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant, Arkansas is seeking an ordained Pastor. This is a full-time position to serve a small rural church of approximately 80 members.

Our members include all age groups, thus giving a new pastor the opportunity to communicate with and share the Word of Christ with all ages. We have three worship services weekly (Sunday morning and night, plus Wednesday night Bible Study). Vacation and work schedule can be flexible.

Secondary School Principal

Heritage International School is the ONLY Christian international school in the country of Uganda. It is the school where Delight Hopson works and the Hopson children study. It is a small school and is still growing with approximately 200 students from 2 years old to 12th grade. The 2010-2011 school year is to begin in August.

The school needs a Secondary Principal. A small salary, along with housing, is offered and will depend on the person’s experience. The school is also offering to pay for some of the cost of airline tickets, work permit and health insurance.

Are you seeking to make a difference in God’s Kingdom? This is a Christian school, but most of the students are coming from very difficult family and life situations. Woodlawn Cumberland Presbyterian, by the power of the Holy Spirit, seeks to witness and lead others into a personal walk with Jesus Christ, watch and work for him, and worship God in spirit and truth. We seek to be ministers of reconciliation and redemption through the operation of Christ in our lives.

We are in search of a full-time pastor who is filled with the Spirit, believes all the Scriptures are the inspired word of God, and is guided by the Holy Spirit to lead Woodlawn. We believe the person should have a pastor’s heart, be willing to lovingly invest in and encourage relationships through visitation, caring, and counseling. Our pastor should have an energized work ethic, knowledge of the Scriptures, a sound theology, and communicate well with all ages.

Many of the families in the area have lower incomes and in many cases are led by a single parent. Our Wednesday evening program routinely brings in 60 to 80 young people from the local area, preschool through high school.

This is a full-time position with a loving and growing Church Community. The Director of Christian Education and Music (DCEM) will work with the Pastor, appropriate committees, and the Youth Coordinator to advocate for and promote Christian Education and Music programs in a multi-generational organization.
