	CP Church Responds to Flood Relief The Missions Ministry Team, on behalf of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, has begun sending relief aid to assist the flood victims in Tennessee. The funds have been distributed through local CP churches and relief agencies responding to emergency needs and relief efforts in the Nashville and West TN. areas. Additional contributions for relief aid may be sent to Missions Ministry Team, 8207 Traditional Place, Cordova, TN 38016-7414 (designate: "Flood Relief"). 	Sharpe Elected to Succeed Rush as Stated Clerk of General Assembly In its first business session, on Monday, 14 June 2010, the 180th General Assembly of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church elected Rev. 	In 2010 - We Celebrate 200 Years of the Cumberland Presbyterian Denomination: Many congregations celebrated Denomination Day on Sunday, February 7th. A denomination-wide celebration will be held at Montgomery Bell State Park during General Assembly 2010. The Historical Foundation offers a variety of video clips and links for those wishing to use them.
	The Center's Wish List!: We're searching for some Cumberland Presbyterians who might like to help us by donating some items and services we need around the Center. Denominational staff members are maintaining a wish list and inviting congregations, women's ministries, men's fellowships, and individuals to adopt a project. 	CP Church Aids Earthquake Victims in Chile: The Missions Ministry Team, on behalf of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, has sent $10,000 in relief aid to assist the earthquake victims in Chile. The funds have been distributed through Church World Service responding to emergency needs and relief efforts in Chile. CP relief funds were made available from the 25 percent portion of the One Great Hour of Sharing and the Loaves and Fishes offerings retained by the Missions Ministry Team for distribution in times of emergency.
