Celebrate 200 Years of the Cumberland Presbyterian Denomination:
Many
congregations will celebrate Denomination Day on Sunday, February 7th.
A denomination wide celebration will be held at Montgomery Bell State
Park during General Assembly 2010. The Historical Foundation offers a
variety of Denomination Day resources (general resources).

 CP Church Aids Earthquake Victims
in Haiti: On January 14, the Missions Ministry Team, on
behalf of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church sent $10,000 in relief aid
to assist the earthquake victims in Haiti. The Funds have been
distributed through Church World Service (CWS) responding to emergency
needs and relief efforts in Haiti. As of January 25, additional gifts
totaling $15,000 from congregations and individuals have been received
and also forwarded to CWS for Haiti relief. Contributions for relief
aid may be sent to the
Missions Ministry Team, 8207 Traditional Place, Cordova, TN 38016
