How to use the Resource Manual

The purpose of the Resource Manual is to identify projects and opportunities that will support your local and regional organization in such a way as to further the Gospel. By combining, as much as possible, the materials of women's work into one resource manual it is our hope that you will be able to individualize your program to one that will meet the needs of your local organization while also maintaining the connection to each of your sister churches. The Resource Manual of the Cumberland Presbyterian Women's Ministry is a comprehensive guide to women's ministries.

The manual is divided into Three Tracks: Bible Study/Prayer, Mission/Service/Outreach, and Fellowship/Encouragement. Behind each tab are programs and Bible Studies that fit these categories. Additionally, there are articles on mentoring, mission projects, service projects, outreach ideas, and biographical information on the mission field workers in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The Guidelines section has the structure and criteria for Cumberland Presbyterian Women's Ministry. There are masters for copying order forms for all Endowment Memberships as well as a resource order form for resource materials. The Structure section shows maps and geographical boundaries of regions and the women's ministry groups in those areas. You will also find in the manual Duties of Officers and leadership development resources. Information is provided for Opportunities for Giving. Finally, the yearly calendar (pdf) or (Word) listing important dates and activities which can be added to and duplicated for local and regional use. You can purchase a Resource Manual from the Board of Missions office or by using the Order Form. Portions of the Manual are provided here for your convenience. Most of these files are PDF files and will require an Adobe Reader, which you can downlad now for free.
