I Peter 4:10-11  (NIrV):
God's gifts of grace come in many forms. Each of you has received a gift in order to serve others. You should use it faithfully. If you speak, you should do it like one speaking God's very words. If you serve, you should do it with the strength God provides. Then in all things God will be praised through Jesus Christ. Give him the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Purpose: As Cumberland Presbyterian Women, we will praise God by recognizing and using our gifts in their many forms to serve God in our words & actions. 

Keynote Speaker: The Reverend Lisa Anderson
Rev. Anderson has been a staff chaplain at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for the past ten years full-time and four years before that as a contract chaplain. She has served as a member of the Institutional Review Board on the Ethics Committee. Lisa is currently the past-president of the Pediatric Chaplains Network, an international organization dedicated to education and excellence in the pastoral care of children and their families. Lisa is a graduate of Christian Brothers University and Memphis Theological Seminary and completed Clinical Pastoral Education at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center Memphis. As an ordained Cumberland Presbyterian minister she  pastors the Colonial congregation and lives in the Mid-Town area of Memphis with her husband Dr. Barry Anderson.ynote Speaker: The Reverend Lisa Anderson — Chaplain, St. Jude Hospital, Memphis

Convention Offering: - Southeast Vision School
This is an evangelism project of one of our CP missionaries serving in a country in Southeast East.

NOTE: There will not be Regional Banners this year at Convention. Instead, Red River Region will design and create a Convention Banner representing the theme and focus. Red River won the drawing at the 2007 Convention in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
