Service and Outreach Opportunities
There are many opportunities within the Cumberland Presbyterian Church for an individual person, church or group to reach out to others with the love of Christ. If you would like to organize a work trip for your own church and aren't quite sure where or how, then click on the graphic to the left for assistance. The 2010 Christian Service Ministry Opportunities booklet is full of contact information for many different service opportunities within the U.S. and outside the States.
Volunteers in Mission (VIA) provides coordinating leadership for a voluntary service program with both overseas and stateside mission fields. Take the time to view the PowerPoint of this program (VIA PowerPoint)
If you do not have the PowerPoint program on your computer, you can download a PowerPoint Viewer to open the document. It is a free and easy download from Microsoft. Just click on the link to go to the download page. If the link doesn't work for you, go to
www.microsoft.com home page. From there follow the links to the PowerPoint Viewer download page.
Listed on this page is just some of the upcoming work trips within the denomination.
