Quimbaya New Church Development Dedicates New Sanctuary
A New Church Model--Youth Successfully Plant Church
On Feb. 4, 2007 the Quimbaya NCD group dedicated their new sanctuary whick will hold about 100 people seated. Previously the group had met in two rooms of an existing house of the property and could only seat 40 people.
An open area of the Quimbaya property back of the existing house had previously been partially enclosed for security reasons, and in December, 2006 was roofed over using a special private donation. In response to that effort the Armenia Church youth group donated the flooring needed and another special donation provided money for electrical installations and plastering.
The ceremony was attended by members of the Armenia and Cartago churches who came together with the Timothy Group (youth from Armenia) who are the principal church planters for this project.
The new church was named for Timothy, Apostle.
