Hogar Samaria (Samaria Nursing Home) Nearing First Phase Completion

Many Cumberland Presbyterians are aware of the project of Cauca Valley Presbytery to construct and operate a nursing home on the outskirts of Cali, Colombia. This project is nearing completion and has one more request to make of people that may be able to contribute. The final step of this phase is to equip and decorate the eighteen rooms of the new facility. This includes the purchase of a bed, a clothes cabinet, an easy chair, and all the bedding and linens necessary for a senior
adult. The average price per person is $733. Therefore, the goal is to find a total of $27,867 for the completion of all rooms. Perhaps, your Sunday school class, your family, or you would like to outfit one room for this program to provide needed services for the elderly.
