Endowment Challenge!

The establishment of an endowment is a thoughtful avenue to honor an  esteemed friend or family member.  Endowments are managed through  secure investments to provide a perpetual source of income to the  beneficiary of the endowment.  Everyone can establish an endowment to  support the ongoing work of missions while at the same time  remembering a loved one.  Endowments with the Board of Missions can  be established for an initial contribution of $500.  Sometimes,  endowments are established to memorialize the work of individual or  to honor a person still living.  An establishment or funding of an  endowment is an excellent idea for a unique Christmas or birthday  gift.  Individuals, groups, or churches can contact the Board of  Missions (901) 276-9988 for information on how to initiate the endowment.

The Board of Missions currently holds more than 8 million dollars in  a variety of endowments and the income produced greatly benefits the  mission program of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  You are  encouraged to establish an endowment for a significant person that  has touched your life.
