VBS Missions Emphasis Resource
2007 Focus — Hot Lunch Program in Colombia, SA

The purpose of this resource is to provide leaders of Vacation Bible schools (and other settings for children) with information and activities to teach children (preschool through elementary) about missions and outreach within the CP Church. The 2007 focus will be the Hot Lunch Program in Colombia, SA. The design of this resource is object lessons or talks, each less than 10 minutes in duration. The children will be encouraged to bring money to contribute to the financial aspect of keeping these feeding programs open in Colombia.

Special Note: First CP Church in Rogersville, AL used this resource during their summer Vacation Bible School ministry and raise $698.12. The pastor of the church, Rev. Pat Driskell said "the children of our congregation were generous and faithful in this giving. They even decided to call their various lunches "sancocho" in solidarity with their sisters and brothers in Colombia." Thanks kids!
