Tent-maker Alfonso Marquez has been serving as church planter for this Hispanic work in East Tennessee Presbytery since 2000, and is nearing completion of his PAS studies. In 2003 his family purchased a Habitat for Humanity house. Now meeting in a local Presbyterian Church, the congregation has about 50 in worship on Sundays.

Since October 1999 Rev. Yu Pyong San (Sonny Yu) has been serving this Korean new church effort.
Approximately 50 people worship regularly in this church, and they presently share facilities with a Southern Baptist Church in Clarksville. There are discussions about leasing or buying property from this church for a permanent building.

Luz de Las Naciones (Light to the Nations) - McMinnville, Tennessee
Pastor Ramon Garcia serves this new church that started in 1999, which now averages between 100 and 130 on Sundays. Presbytery purchased a three-acre site which included a metal building that was renovated for church use. Builders Fellowship calls assisted in the construction program. Sunday school grew to the point of needing an additional trailer. In 2003 the project was adjusted to a tent-making ministry for the pastor, since congregational income could not sustain full-time ministry. The church has, though, significantly reduced its building debt during the past two years.

Cristo el Sombredor (Christ the Sower) - Manchester, Tennessee
Initiated originally as an outreach of Luz de Las Naciones, Murfreesboro Presbytery formalized the NCD process in the spring of 2002. Christ the Sower mission shares facilities of Manchester CP Church. Tent-making pastor Neil Aguilar is enrolled in PAS. The congregation reports regular worship attendance of 40.
