Sheppard.--Mrs. Miranda C. Sheppard, wife of the Rev. J. C.
Sheppard, died of consumption at their home in Springfield, Mo.,
May 23, 1889. The deceased was born in Callaway county, Mo., February

professed faith in Christ and united with the Cumberland Presbyterian
church in the twentieth year of her age. At the time of her death
she was a member of Calvary Presbyterian church, Springfield,

sent pangs of sorrow to a loving husband and three devoted children.
She was useful in all good works, a great help to her husband
in his labors for the Master. W.
