Mabelle Reid
GREENFIELD,
MO. -- Graveside services for Mabelle M. Reid, 91, Greenfield,
who died at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday at a Greenfield nursing home
of apparent natural causes, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the
Arcola
Hickory Grove Cemetery.
The Rev. Robert Gould will officiate. Burial will be under direction of the Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Arcola Hickory Grove Cemetery Association.
Mrs. Reid was born April 13, 1896, in Dade County. She was a retired minister and teacher, and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Springfield.
She married the Rev. William Reid on Aug. 29, 1919, in Glasgow, Ky. He died in February 1950.
Survivors include one son, William R. Reid Jr., Hawthorne,
Fla; one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Aiello, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; two
brothers, the Rev. George C. Robison, Greenfield, and Jerry B.
Robison, Stockton; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
