Absentees being called upn, Rev. J. L. Smith and Rev. E. J. Ragan gave reasons for former absence at the sittings of Presbytery, which reasons were sustained.
Brother J. A. J. Dunlap was appointed to spend the whole of his time travelling and preaching upon the Charlotte Circuit, and Brother M. M. Moss the whole of his time upon the Waverly circuit, and Brothers E. J. Ragan and A. G. Shelton as much of their time as possible upon the Ewing Circuit, until the next stated meeting of this Presbytery.
