Death--Rev. R. T. Mitchell, 71, pastor of Providence (Ky.) church, February 9. He had been a minister 39 years, having been ordained in Mayfield Presbytery in 1933. He served churches in Illinois, Indiana, Mayfield and Princeton presbyteries. He was a licensed funeral director in Kentucky and was in this work part time for many years. He helped organize the first youth camp in Mayfield Presbytery in 1937. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marie Bearden Mitchell, one son and one daughter.
