Rev. Joseph W. Bright, 73, died December 1 in Birmingham. He had pastored churches in Alabama, Kentucky, and Tennessee for more than thirty years. He retired in 1955 due to poor health.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Flora Bright, three brothers, and three grandchildren.

Funeral and interment were in Birmingham with Rev. Donald Caperton officiating.
